Kay and Paolo are one of the most laid-back couples we’ve ever met! They booked us as their UK wedding photographers to capture their intimate ceremony at the Milling Barn, Hertfordshire. With such a relaxed celebration, they had an absolute blast during their session. The bride couldn’t wipe away her smile during the entire barn wedding! And, honestly – who wouldn’t?
Romantic Settings
The couple chose the Milling Barn as their venue and didn’t have to spend a lot of time decorating – they already had the perfect setting! As soon as we arrived, we captured photos of Kay getting ready with her girls before heading to the ceremony venue. The barn was absolutely fabulous! Candles and floral arrangements beautifully lined the aisle, creating the perfect romantic atmosphere. Soon after, the flower girls were throwing their petals around, announcing the moment everyone’s been waiting for. You wouldn’t believe the excitement that filled the room!
Intimate Barn Wedding Ceremony
The barn wedding began with Kay’s spectacular entrance, led by her father. She looked absolutely stunning in her elegant dress, paired with a delicate white bouquet. As the couple turned to face each other, the ceiling windows provided the perfect lighting to capture this moment beautifully. Kay and Paulo promised to love each other eternally and officially tied the knot! The guests’ roar filled the Hertfordshire wedding venue as the couple made their first steps as a married couple. The energy was simply infectious!
Dreamy Session
Once the barn wedding ceremony concluded, we went outside to capture some group shots with the guests. Kay and Paulo had the luxury of time on their side and really got creative with their photos. We especially loved the pictures we took with the bride squad – the girls were so thrilled!
Finally, after they took photos with their friends and family, we whisked away the newlyweds for their wedding portraits. Given their free spirit, being relaxed was not an issue! They posed beautifully in front of the camera but were also very natural and elegant. They embraced the love they had for each other and showed it to us. Simply put, the experience was magnificent, and we have the photos to tell for it!
