Laura & Luke’s barn wedding had it all! A lovely couple, gorgeous venue, whimsical settings, a relaxed environment, and fantastic weather. The couple envisioned depicting their personalities while making their guests feel comfortable. So, Southend Barns was an inevitable choice for their West Sussex wedding as it featured many amenities. Every part of the venue was complemented with lush gardens and interiors defining opulence.
Getting Ready Morning
The beautiful rustic wedding venue in the village boasts well-kept lawns, courtyards, and many photogenic outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy. On the wedding morning, we joined the girls while they were getting ready. There was laughter and giggling as they got their hair and make-up done. Laura looked lovely in a white, lace and net A-line gown with an updo hairstyle. Her family got emotional when they saw her dressed as a gorgeous bride. On the other hand, the handsome groom, Luke, looked dapper in a sharp black suit.
Memorable Barn Wedding Ceremony
The guests were arriving and congregating at the front of the place, ready to be part of the ceremony. Everyone was friendly and genuinely easygoing. While all the guests were seated, Luke waited for the lovely bride to walk in. The ceremony was lovely and heartwarming everyone cheered for Laura as she walked down the aisle with her father. The couple were holding their hands while exchanging rings and vows. Shortly after, the couple and their loved ones celebrated it with flowers and confetti. We took advantage of the weather and had a group session with the couple’s families before sneaking out for intimate portraits. Afterwards, it started raining. However, we made the most of it by capturing the couple in the romantic weather with white umbrellas.
Southend Barns Wedding Reception
This part of their barn wedding will always remain in our hearts. The family and friends gave incredible speeches with poignant words that many brushed away a tear or two. The rest of the celebrations continued in the same wonderful manner, with amazing food and endless dancing throughout the night. In a nutshell, Laura and Luke’s West Sussex wedding was a treat for the senses – from the joyful music and dedicated cocktail hour to the cake-cutting and dancing!
