Liverpool John Lennon Airport is the nearest major airport, approximately 30 minutes away depending on traffic. Manchester Airport is a solid alternative if you're flying from further afield, around an hour's drive. There is parking on site, so driving is a straightforward option if you're staying local or have a designated driver sorted. For the evening, book your taxi home in advance. Local firms get busy, so having a number saved before the day saves a lot of hassle later.
