Emily and Ashley celebrated their union in style at the most amazing wedding venue – Blakelands Country House, Stourbridge. The beams present in the barn and the brick walls were perfect for their rustic wedding theme, and honestly, it didn’t require much decoration. As the couple didn’t want anything formal for the day, The Blakelands Estate was perfect for hosting this kind of celebration.
The Wedding Morning
Our day started with bridal preparation at the suite and the rest of the bridesmaids. Emily took the spotlight in an elegant and sophisticated one-shoulder gown and stunning neckpiece and veil to complete her look.
One of the most touching moments was when her father saw her for the first time. Undoubtedly, there wasn’t a single dry eye in the room. Shortly before the ceremony, Ashley made a stylish entry in a Little Pot’s van and spent quality time with his groomsmen. We took this moment to capture their camaraderie before proceeding to the Blakelands Country House. Naturally, we knew we were in for quite a treat!
Blakelands Country House Wedding Ceremony
Blakelands Country House is a venue that leaves a mark as soon as you see it. As you arrive, you will notice there is a bit of everything, from the gorgeous countryside scenery to the old rustic doors that add depth and charm. As the ceremony was about to start, everyone present took their seats. Then, the awaited moment arrived, and Emily walked down the aisle with her father. Their vows of ever-lasting love were truly touching and left everyone captivated and in awe. Finally, it was time for our favourite part of the day – the couple’s portraits!
The Blakelands Country House was perfect for breathtaking and priceless portraits. However, our favourite photos were taken during the walk, with Emily sitting on the swing and Ashley holding her from the back. What took our hearts was the emotional readings they did in private. It made their photos even better than we imagined.
The Endless Celebrations
After the Stourbridge wedding session, we moved towards the reception space. Beautiful fairy lights, candles, and flowers decorated this intimate barn evening celebration. After their long-awaited entrance as newlyweds, it didn’t take long for the couple’s celebration to be as lively as ever! Luckily, we were there to capture every single moment of it.
Ashley and Emily were so eager to have their first dance as a married couple! After all, who wouldn’t? Their delicate sways inspired everyone to hit the floor and lock arms with a loved one to join in on the romance. And for the grand adieu, we stepped out to capture the couple for one last time during golden hour. Can you think of a better way to say goodbye?
