We love a couple who is fearless about their wedding decisions! This was the case with Michael and Victoria, a lovely couple who truly pulled out all the stops for their epic celebrations. They decided to tie the knot in an ornate church, followed by a super-fun reception with loads of traditions. It’s safe to say this Coventry wedding was nothing short of spectacular!
The Swoon-Worthy Bride
We knew we were in for a fabulous time as soon as we arrived at St. Mary & Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church. Firstly, let’s talk about the bride’s incredibly royal look. Victoria stunned in an elegant, princess off-shoulder gown with intricate 3D lace. The fairytale ball gown was adorned with delicate flowers that blossomed along the neckline and gracefully descended onto her skirt. Lastly, she completed her princess look with a sparkly tiara and a gorgeous bouquet. Of course, this was only the beginning of what the couple had in store for their Coventry wedding!
A Traditional Coventry Wedding Ceremony
Part of what made this Coventry wedding special was the guests themselves. As they entered the church, we couldn’t help but notice their stunning attire. Elegant hats, sophisticated tuxes, and intricate gowns galore! Undoubtedly, Victoria was the one who truly stole the show. Namely, she and her father arrived at St. Mary & Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church in a classy Rolls Royce. Then, the ceremony proceeded in traditional fashion with symbolic customs and a cheerful confetti shower.
After the ceremony, we headed to the gardens for a few group photos of the wedding party and guests. It was a great place for us to capture intimate portraits of the couple. One of the essential highlights of the day was observing Michael and Victoria releasing white pigeons. The tradition symbolised love and peace, which made this traditional wedding even more heartwarming. Once we completed the intimate shots, we headed for the reception to join everyone and enjoy the next set of celebrations at the Coombe Abbey Hotel.
The Unforgettable Reception at Coombe Abbey Hotel
Michael and Victoria were welcomed amidst cheers and joy as they arrived for their reception. They walked beneath the lovely rose arch with sparklers across its sides. Coombe Abbey Hotel had amazing interiors with eye-catching chandeliers and tasteful neutral decor. Additionally, the tables were nicely dressed in linen, colourful flowers, and many candles to create a luxurious ambience.
Celebrations started with heartfelt speeches and cake-cutting, followed by the couple’s romantic dance as newlyweds. The smoke and sparklers made the entire setting dreamy and created the ultimate lighting for the pictures. If that’s not enough, the celebration didn’t end there! Michael and Victoria invited professional dancers and musicians to raise the atmosphere through the roof. A few belly dancers made the night exceptionally fun and invited everyone to dance their hearts out.
Before calling it a day, we sneaked out with the newlyweds and guests for an amazing fireworks show. Simply, it was the perfect ending to this epic Coventry wedding!
