Prepare for Amber-lea and James’ delightful celebration at the striking Monksilver venue. We definitely had so much fun capturing their action-packed Crowcombe Court wedding. As professional wedding photographers, we capture unforgettable moments in many gorgeous venues across the UK.
However, no Somerset wedding venue holds a special place in our hearts as the Crowcombe Court. This historic country house is the epitome of charm, character and luxury – a magical place to exchange vows.
Magnificent Somerset Wedding Venue
Crowcombe Court is a magnificent Grade I Georgian Manor House with three separate court wedding ceremony rooms. The largest of the rooms, the Great Hall, has impressive and exquisite features like a fireplace, marble-patterned floor, and beautiful plasterwork walls. Built in 1739, it had lavish interiors and enchanting gardens that made up for excellent backdrops. It is spread across 7 acres of stunning gardens and enjoys unrivalled views of the Quantock Hills.
As usual, this manor wedding began at the getting ready room. The bridal suite had a lovely and calm atmosphere. It was a great time to let things happen and capture the comings and goings. Amber looked incredible in her wedding gown, which perfectly complemented the venue’s grandeur. On the other hand, James was dashing in the bespoke suit, and together, they made a picture-perfect couple. The most emotional moment was when her father saw her as the bride. Slowly, they went downstairs through the oak staircase with the special guest – Amber and James’ son- to the ceremony.
The Crowcombe Court Wedding Ceremony
As the ceremony approached, James eagerly awaited his bride and was elated upon seeing her walk down the aisle with her father. Their little son brought the wedding rings. Even though the manor wedding ceremony was short and sweet, the newlyweds emerged with beaming smiles and entered the deluge of confetti before heading to the Crowcombe Court reception. The weather was great, so the drinks were held on the front lawns. Meanwhile, we took photos of the pretty woodland with the beautiful couple. One of the things we love the most about the Crowcombe Court wedding venue is the gardens. They are perfect for capturing romantic portraits.
The Fun Reception
As guests moved inside, speeches kept all of us highly entertained. There was a lot of love in the room, and friends and family members moved to hear their stories. We sneaked out with the couple shortly after the reception to capture the amazing golden hour and sunset portraits of the manor wedding. Afterwards, we spend time across the immaculately landscaped, manicured gardens with the couple and their son. Not to miss, their two fur babies were also part of the special occasion and made a beautiful family of five.
