Our next love story started at a phenomenal location – the unique St. James’s Church at the Crypt on the Green. We can honestly say that Rebecca and Mark couldn’t find a better place for their loving reunion. The entire London wedding had a dash of spirituality and serenity, like the couple was truly meant to be.

Crypt on the Green

A Touching Wedding Service

We were eager to shoot in this historic building with modern details tastefully infused. The designer lights blended perfectly with the stained glass windows at the Crypt On The Green. Moreover, the mix of different lights had a wonderful effect on the camera. The aisle was adorned with lilies and roses, matching the bridesmaids’ bouquets. All dressed in light pink dresses, they were impatiently peeking through the door, waiting for the bride to come. Meanwhile, the groom looked better than ever in a dusty blue suit and a slicked-back hairstyle.

At last, the bride appeared at The Crypt at St. James, holding hands with her father. Rebecca was absolutely glowing in a long, minimal but graceful white dress, classy low-bun hairstyle and barely-there makeup. After saying their ‘I dos’ and singing a couple of hymns at the service, the newlyweds stepped outside to take some family portraits. By all means, almost all shots were approved for living room picture frames.

Fun And Groovy Crypt on the Green Reception

Rebecca and Mark chose not to change locations and host their reception at The Crypt On The Green. Clearly, they weren’t wrong, as the place had a charm of its own with its vaulted brickwork ceilings and parquet floors. Following a few speeches and a congratulatory raise of glasses, the newlyweds showed their playful side. They got into a back-to-back position to play the ‘Guess Who’ game, sharing some laughs with their dearly beloved.

Undoubtedly, the dessert table was the star of the London wedding – two round buttercream cakes and lots of cupcakes! The bride and groom were happy to pose for our cameras and eternalise the special ‘cut the cake’ moment.

A Jazzy Way To End The Day

Rebecca and Mark changed outfits and set the dancefloor on fire to get more comfortable. They prepared a short and sweet choreography for the crow,d which they passed with flying colours. Shortly after, all guests joined them for a jazzy swing and dance session. It was the perfect ending to the fantastic day.

St. James’s Church at the Crypt on the Green proved to be the idyllic spot for a celebration. In effect, Rebecca and Mark’s wedding day was the perfect example.
