Love, romance, and great party people are all it takes for a wonderful time. That’s what we got with Neil and Rachel’s relaxed countryside wedding at the Departure Lounge Cafe.
The couple contacted us to discuss their vision to capture special memories from their day. However, their wedding was so special because they also had a cute little baby boy, which brought joy to every guest. We feel honoured to have met this incredible family who have trusted our work and invited us to capture their timeless memories.
The Unforgettable & Emotional Wedding Ceremony
We arrived early at the Departure Lounge Cafe and met the couple directly for their ceremony. The festivities were about to start, and everyone sat comfortably and patiently waited for Rachel to arrive. Neil was beaming with happiness as he lay his eyes on the gorgeous bride. She looked beautiful in a halter neck, body-fitting gown nicely paired with a long veil. Meanwhile, her dress had lovely intricate details of the design that elevated her overall look. As for the ceremony, the newlyweds poured their hearts out into their vows, making it even more special. We enjoyed the unobstructed moments and captured candid photos as they exchanged vows and rings.
After the roars of cheers, we proceeded to a few group shots and portraits of the couple.
The Departure Lounge Cafe offers some wonderful spots with a lot of photo opportunities. With cool cafe interiors, open fields for the children to play games, a marquee for dining and lots more, this wedding venue in Alton is nothing short of amazing!
While the guests were enjoying their drinks and snacks, we took a moment to capture our favourite shots with a wooden house in the background. We got some of the most priceless, intimate shots here. Lastly, before heading inside the wedding venue in Alton, we quickly took a stroll with the couple across the lush green gardens, and the photos were amazing.

Rachel and Neil walked for the next set of celebrations in style. The reception in Departure Lounge Cafe flowed very well, and the marquee was decorated nicely, taking care of all the essential details. Additionally, we saw a nice tribute to the loved ones with photographs placed on the table with messages and flowers. With many romantic moments amid a convivial and welcoming atmosphere, this wedding was beyond special.
