If there was ever a wedding that defined elegance and bliss in the true sense, it had to be Sartis and Callum. The couple chose to get married at the amazing countryside Oxfordshire wedding venue – Caswell House. It is a classic timber-framed barn. As their UK wedding photographer team, we felt honoured to assist the lovely couple in portraying their special day.
Exclusive Barn Wedding Venue
Caswell House is an exclusive site offering stylish, romantic, and vintage settings for the big day. Nestled in Oxfordshire, it boasts a rich history, with its enchanting gardens and classic architecture creating a wonderful backdrop.
The day started with Sartis and her girls getting ready shots in the bridal suite. Meanwhile, the groom was wearing a sophisticated black suit and was busy taking pictures. One of the most emotional parts was when her father saw her as a gorgeous bride looking just like a fairy!
Caswell House Wedding Ceremony
After the first photos, we moved towards the ceremony. The place was filled with people waiting to see the beautiful bride. Sartis walked down the aisle with her father, making her way to Callum, who stood calmly but anxious at the same time beneath the wooden arch. The couple exchanged vows in the presence of the officiant. Once the ceremony concluded, everyone showered their love and blessings on the newlyweds. The happy couple stepped out and walked through the showers of confetti.
Shortly after, all guests were ushered to the cocktail hour, during which they interacted and greeted the bride and groom. Before the reception space was open, we sneaked out some time with a couple for an intimate and most relaxed portrait session we have ever had. These two are just so in love and seem able to pull out romantic poses with so much ease.
Thankfully, we made the most of this gorgeous location and took some amazing shots at a swing, bridge and garden spaces.
The Fun & Celebration Continues!
For the reception, the newlyweds chose one of the halls at the Caswell house to celebrate with their loved ones. As they entered, it was time for dinner and speeches. Emotional words were spoken during the toast, and the evening was full of fun, hearty messages, and love. Afterwards, the newlyweds performed their first dance. They were later joined by their family and friends. The guests savoured the amazing dinner, and the entire evening was filled with music, dance, and endless fun.
Sartis and Callum’s elegant wedding at the Caswell House is among the best we have ever witnessed. Everything from start to finish was perfect, and we are sure their guests will surely remember it for years to come!
