Getting Ready and The Lake Henry Ceremony
The vibes for Nicola and Rhys’s rustic wedding at Lake Henry were through the roof! Once we arrived in the bridal suite, we immediately noticed how on-trend the girls were. They all wore the most comfortable robes and sipped away some bubbly to prepare for the big moments. On the other side, all hands were on the groom as his closest were putting the attire’s final touches.
The bridesmaids stunned in their olive dresses, which was one of the biggest wedding trends of the year! However, it was Rhys who truly stole the show! She captivated everyone at Lake Henry with her gorgeous gown and walked down the aisle graciously toward her loved one. We cannot describe the anticipation that filled the room as we were eager to hear the famous “I do’s”. And luckily, they came much sooner than expected! Shortly after, the couple exchanged sentiments of devotion and vowed to love one another eternally. It was a truly magical moment for them and everyone present!
Breathtaking Wedding Portraits
While the guests shared impressions of this rustic wedding ceremony, we went into the heart of nature for their portraits. Lake Henry is filled with so many spectacular backdrops that we didn’t know where to begin! The bride’s wildflower bouquet made their wedding portraits even more unique, as it was the perfect addition to the surroundings. Later, we took some shots on a whimsical swing, completely unaware of the surprise that followed.
Namely, Rhys and Nicola had an unexpected guest – the most majestic black horse. Combined with Lake Henry’s surroundings, this was more than the couple could’ve hoped for their wedding portraits! Naturally, the bride rode the horse before heading in for the celebrations.
A Love For Details
Before Lake Henry became flooded with guests, we ensured that we captured all the details of this Yorkshire wedding. Rhys and Nicola thought of every single one, creating a gorgeous aesthetic for their most special day. For one, the tableware was enriched with green tones and vibrant florals. Additionally, the menus featured a natural design, matching the theme to a T. Still, the cake was the true attention-stealer – a multi-tiered piece of art adorned with minimalist flowers. We told you – the couple took care of everything!
From epic champagne showers, heartwarming speeches, and show-stopping dance moves, there wasn’t a single dull moment at this Yorkshire wedding reception. Everyone had the best time celebrating Rhys and Nicola’s love for each other, making this celebration one for the books!
