These beautiful souls wanted nothing but the best for their special celebration. So, they found their way to Manor By The Lake, a gorgeous estate set in the heart of the Cotswolds. Luxury and romance were ever-present, and we couldn’t wait to share this epic love story with you!
The Gorgeous Manor By the Lake
Manor By the Lake is an awe-inspiring wedding venue in Cheltenham, boasting vibrant greenery and breathtaking outdoors. It effortlessly blends history with modern charm, elegance and architecture. However, what makes it truly perfect for hosting outdoor celebrations are its beauty and flexibility, combined with its versatile surrounding gardens.
We arrived early on the wedding morning at the venue to join the bride and groom for their getting ready shots. The atmosphere was so fun and lively, but also very convivial. Just being there in the room with the newlyweds’ parties made us feel like we were part of their families. With all the friendly chatter going around, we knew this manor wedding would be one for the books!
The Heartfelt Ceremony
The ceremony was set up in the Italian Gardens. Kayla walked down the aisle holding a gorgeous bouquet reflecting autumnal elements. The weather was great; the sun shone brightly, giving us some of the most beautiful photos. As the couple exchanged vows, Kayla got a bit emotional. It was evident through her tears how much the moment meant to her. Shortly after, the couple moved out as newlyweds, holding their little son in their arms.
Drinks and canapes were served by the Manor By The Lake as the couple mingled with everyone and were congratulated with hugs and kisses. It was the time for us to take Kayla and Duwane away for a few intimate portraits and capture their love. The manicured gardens and amazing architecture of the Manor gave us some of the most priceless photos. Its grounds offered the most natural backdrop for the manor wedding. Some of our favourites were those taken on the wooden bridge when Duwane kissed Kayla and lifted her in his arms. It gave the most romantic vibes one can ever imagine. Finally, we captured the most lovely moments during the golden hour.
The Fun Wedding Reception
Kayla and Duwane made a stylish entry as they arrived for the party, holding their hands. Then, the moment we were all waiting for – the cake cutting with the beautiful gold decorations. Following the first dance, everyone joined in and made it the most beautiful day of the couple’s life. As the day began to close, we took the last shot of Kayla and Duwane as a family of three in front of the Manor By The Lake, and it provided a spectacular backdrop.
