The romantic barn, nestled amidst farms and woodland, offers a picturesque backdrop that’s a dream for any photographer. Moreover, its secluded and tranquil settings, coupled with a variety of backdrops, make it an absolute delight for every couple planning their special day.
The Relaxed Wedding Morning
We arrived early for the Gaynes Park Barns wedding to capture getting-ready photos of the bride and the girls. The atmosphere was relaxed, with girls chatting and laughing. Shannon looked gorgeous in a stunning gown with a sweet neckline, while the groom looked dapper in a formal three-piece suit.
One of the touching moments arrived when the bride’s father saw her for the first time in the bridal attire. It was emotional! We captured a few shots of the bride and her father, as well as a few shots of the bridesmaids. The pathway to the bridal suite and the ceremony room stretches across the property. Therefore, we utilise the opportunity to photograph the tender moments between the father and the daughter as they walk.

Shannon and Benjamin married in The Orangery. The room was bright, airy, and spacious, with a glass roof and walls on three sides, allowing loads of natural light. Meanwhile, the guests were comfortably seated before the ceremony, waiting for the couple. All the guests were requested to keep their phones and cameras off and be fully immersed in the couple’s beautiful Gaynes Park Barns wedding.
Shannon was constantly smiling as she walked down the aisle with her father. The couple exchanged vows and rings to mark their new beginnings, and their family and friends later welcomed them with confetti. Meanwhile, we whisked out for a couple of portraits in the surrounding areas of the barn. After a few relaxed portraits on the stunning grounds, it was time for speeches and a few more drinks before the celebrations went underway.
Now, it is time for the best part of the Gaynes Park Barns wedding! The rain! Indeed, who says rain can dampen the mood? We beg to differ. We simply had Shannon and Benhain holding umbrellas while we played with raindrops and ensnared their magic!
After the rainy photography, we continued with the cake cutting, after which the couple was invited to the first dance. The newlyweds looked too much in love as they danced their hearts out and were joined by their family and friends.
