William and Tommy’s same-sex wedding at Southend Barns was one of the most touching and emotional celebrations ever. The couple was amazing, and we were privileged to be at Southend Barns for their wedding. We had so many beautiful and emotional moments that we will cherish forever.
The Gorgeous Southend Barns Wedding
Southend Barn is a beautiful countryside heaven for weddings in West Sussex. The 200-year-old venue is a rustic, romantic barn with stunning gardens and elegant courtyards. It offered idyllic settings for the special day with lots of indoor and outdoor space and enchanting traditional wooden beams.
The wedding morning was a lovely sunny day, and there was a lot of love and laughter in both rooms. Then we had a couple of shots of them while they were perfecting their looks for their upcoming gay wedding.
The Unique Same-Sex Wedding Ceremony
William and Tommy chose to exchange their “I do’s” in the garden, a beautiful spot that offered a picturesque backdrop. Both looked phenomenal in grey suits as William walked up the aisle with one of his closest friends. Shortly after, with tears in their eyes, they exchanged vows and rings, and the gay wedding could begin.
This same-sex wedding was terrific, with lots of heartfelt moments and joy. The couple was accompanied by the most beautiful group of people who were cherishing and admiring their new beginning. After the ceremony, William and Tommy grabbed a drink and started greeting the guests.
They had great energy, so we used this moment to take some relaxing photos. One of the most beautiful highlights of the session was capturing them while they sat on the wooden bench.
The Epic Reception
William and Tommy entered the West Sussex wedding venue’s breakfast room with lots of attention. Meanwhile, we took some great shots of hilarious speeches. The toasts were not just about their love stories but their funny moments, too.
The unique space had wooden details with wrought iron chandeliers and full-length windows. Moreover, the settings featured subtle white and blue elements and fairy lights, which added to the richness of the scene. Each table was adorned with fabulous flower arrangements consisting mainly of white roses.
While guests had fun, we stole a few moments with the couple from the Southend Barn wedding to take cute photos with the animals from the farm. Moreover, we, as UK photographers, love to take casual and relaxing photos, so we had to capture their hand-in-hand walk while they gazed lovingly at each other. The evening followed a lovely cake-cutting ceremony, with everyone joining in and dancing their hearts out with the glow sticks. Finally, our evening with William and Tommy and their lovely same-sex wedding ended, and we celebrated every bit of it.
