If there were ever a celebration that truly defined the term wedding bliss, it would undoubtedly be Olivia & Kit’s Scotland wedding at Kelso. The two lovely sweethearts tied the knot in a civil partnership in Kelso at the Kelso Registrar’s Office before treating their guests to an amazing celebration. As their Scotland wedding photographers, we feel honoured to have been part of their most cherished moments.
Moments Before The Scotland Wedding
Before the grand moments of their Kelso wedding happened, our morning started capturing getting ready shots of Olivia and her girls in the hotel. They were having the best time of their life, enjoying champagne and sharing laughter while having their makeup done. Olivia had planned everything so well that they all could leave well ahead of time. The most emotional moment came when her father saw her for the first time as a bride. She looked alluring in the classic, elegant white gown with a long train, and Kit’s traditional outfit complimented her look and the overall theme.
A Touching Ceremony
The Registrar’s Office was only a short drive from the hotel, where Kit and his wedding party were waiting for their Scotland wedding to officially begin. The ceremony was nicely planned, with only the closest family and friends present. While guests sat comfortably, Kit waited patiently for his gorgeous bride. He looked so happy as he saw her walk down the aisle with her father. After Olivia and Kit signed the legal documents, the festivities were outside in the small garden. They chatted with their guests before heading for their elegant wedding reception. But before it started, we took some time off with Olivia and Kit, capturing some stunning shots. Some of our favourites were when they both had intimate celebrations with glasses of wine and walked down the streets hand-in-hand, full of love and smiles.
Gorgeous Photos Galore!
Our favourite part of the day was when Olivia and Kit arrived at the garden for their Scotland wedding and were walked to the lead by the piper. We enjoyed spending those moments with the couple where we could create some romantic shots of them. Before the celebration could kick in, we spent time with the couple and their guests, capturing group portraits. Everyone joined in, and trust us, the photos turned out to be really amazing, full of vibrancy, life, and laughter.
