Lucy and Tom’s gorgeous countryside wedding at the Selden Barns was absolutely magical. As UK wedding photographers, we can confidently say that it is one of our favourite venues. It was such a beautiful day, and we think you should be part of it!
The Wedding Preparations
Selden Barns is spread across 50 acres of rural land and is bounded by flint and brick walls with exposed brickwork and authentic oak beams. Beautifully maintained lawns overlooking the farmland and nearby forests surround the fantastic countryside wedding venue.
It was a gorgeous morning, and the wedding began with getting ready shots of the bride and groom and their family and friends. These pictures are one of our favourite parts, and they allow us to observe the dynamic love between a bride and her girls. The atmosphere was exciting, and watching their love and closeness was precious.
Lucy looked exquisite in her off-shoulder A-line gown and long flowing veil. Likewise, the groom was dapper in a stylish grey suit, complementing Lucy. Before heading for the Selden Barns ceremony, we spent time with the bride and groom separately.
The Touching Ceremony
Lucy and Tom hosted an outdoor wedding celebration, and the setting was one of our favourites. The guests sat and enjoyed the live music on the guitar in the background. Tom’s expressions were priceless when he caught a glimpse of Lucy walking down the aisle.
Once married, the newlyweds headed out to a shower of confetti. It was time to enjoy drinks on the lawns. At this point, we were able to get some beautiful family photos in this countryside wedding venue. Then, we moved out with the couple for a few romantic shots around the attractive gardens. We made the most out of the picturesque surroundings and gorgeous views.
The Selden Barns Reception
After taking intimate photos of the couple, we went inside Selden Barns. The white drapes hanging from the ceiling and chandeliers gave it an amazing look. The evening was followed by fantastic speeches and cake cutting. As UK wedding photographers, we love capturing speeches, as they really set the vibe for the celebrations. Once the meal was over, we took the couple outside for some more photos. The sun was setting, and it created lovely settings. Finally, Lucy and Tom danced their hearts out, making it the most memorable celebration of their lives. It was wonderful to be part of their lovely day at Selden Barns!
