The Reading Room in Norfolk is a beautiful event space tucked away in the countryside. It is often regarded as a hidden gem. Lea and Chris fell in love with it the moment they saw it, knowing it would be ideal for their small wedding. Intimate affairs such as these are a dream to capture, and we were so pleased once the newlyweds booked us to create keepsakes they will treasure for a lifetime.

Small Wedding At The Reading Room, Norfolk

Historic Wedding Venue – The Reading Room

This gorgeous estate dates back to the 17th century. It stands beautifully in the landscaped gardens, offering a spectacular backdrop. The Reading Room is a beautifully restored chapel set in formal gardens. Its exclusive use provides an exceptional atmosphere and intimacy for the day. Moreover, this wedding venue in Norfolk is wonderfully serene and opulently fragrant, thanks to the abundance of unique wildflowers that grow in its gardens. Simply put, when one dreams of having a dreamy English countryside wedding, The Reading Room is the place to be!

A Moment Of Intimacy

Being part of these two incredibly kind and beautiful souls was an absolute honour. The couple decided not to do the getting-ready shots but wanted a private moment before they pledged eternal love. We found a beautiful spot in the Reading Room’s garden. There, these two could have a moment to themselves, fully preparing for the magic that was about to ensue. We are so glad we could sneak this private moment, and the day was off to a beautiful start.

Joyous Celebration

Following the couple portrait session, we moved to the Reading Room’s garden for the ceremony. Lea stunned everyone as she walked down the aisle along with her father. She wore an elegant, flowy gown paired with a pastel-hued bouquet, forming an image of elegance. The newlyweds couldn’t keep their hands off each other throughout the entirety of their small wedding, and who could blame them – love like theirs doesn’t come around too often!

Once they officially tied the knot, we proceeded to take photos of the guests alongside Lea and Chris, and then we escorted them to the courtyard of the venue for another private session. We loved that they opted for a vintage car to arrive in style, which blended perfectly with the historical allure of The Reading Room.

All in all, this was a beautiful small wedding where feelings of happiness, excitement, and romance prevailed. We couldn’t be happier that we could catch it all in action!
