The St Andrew’s Church is a historic building nestled into the Prestwold Estate, making up one of the finest Leicestershire wedding venues. Even though this church has existed since the Norman period, the Packe family acquired it in 1653. They have been in charge ever since. The latest restorations happened in 1980, re-establishing the church’s Gothic style. Precisely this style is one of the features that makes it a popular wedding venue. Toby and Melissa fell into the allure of this historic venue and decided to host their countryside wedding here.
A Touching Traditional Ceremony
The Prestworld Hall wedding preparations began with the bride and the groom perfecting their looks in their personal chambers. There, we managed to snap some amazing photos. The day continued unfolding with the most dreamy settings – the ceremony decoration at St Andrew’s Church was perfect. There were candles and delicate fresh flowers adorning the whole space. Mellissa walked down the church aisle with her father and was greeted by a smiling groom. The couple was married in a traditional church religious ceremony in the presence of their families and loved ones, many of whom gave touching speeches. As they walked outside, Toby and Melissa were showered with flowers. Following, they had some fun taking pictures with their friends and family.
Let the Fun Begin
The reception of Toby and Melissa’s Prestworld Hall wedding featured white roses as table decorations, while the golden chairs and the crystal chandelier added to the glamour of the space. After the initial heartwarming toasts, it was time for the food. So, the guests proceeded to have the time of their lives! With everyone mingling outside and taking the most stunning pictures, the atmosphere of this countryside wedding was simply incomparable, and it was such a pleasure being part of it!
