When Mollie and George planned their big day, they knew they wanted to create something special! Namely, they combined the conventional with the modern, resulting in a one-of-a-kind tented wedding. Luckily, their determination and many ideas led them to their dream day. And, of course, their infectious adoration for one another!
Getting Ready With The Bridesmaids
Before their lively tented wedding, Mollie started her big day with her bridesmaids in the Premier Inn Hotel. They helped her prepare for the celebration she had waited for a long time. All the bridesmaids wore dresses in the same colour – a hue that matched other elements in the wedding, such as the bride’s bouquet and floral crown, as well as the groom and groomsmen’s ties. Simply, this was a detail that made the celebration even more authentic!
A Chic Rustic Ceremony
Mollie and George decided to use The Hidden Hive for both their ceremony and reception. Surely, it was the right decision since they used the Derby wedding venue’s spaces to their advantage. The Honey Bee Barn exudes rustic charm and boasts spectacular surroundings, making it perfect for romantic ceremonies. With that said, the couple enjoyed this setting while exchanging their vows in front of their family and friends. Naturally, we used the stunning scenery outside to make some gorgeous family portraits once the formalities were over.
A Magical Tented Wedding Reception
On the other hand, The Hidden Hive involves a magical tent that couples get to modify and make their own. Mollie and George included vibrant and subtle decor to match the style of their tented wedding. The colours of the centrepieces complemented the details of the bridal party’s attire and perfectly matched the ambience of the tent. Moreover, they added unique details, such as a mirror seating plan that the guests loved!
