The Villa Wrea Green was the location of our next wedding story, where Michelle and Thomas joined in matrimony. It was a warm gathering of close friends and family, and the captivating country house hotel was just the right place.

Villa Wrea Green

Classic Ceremony With An Open-Air Cocktail

All guests took their seats at The Hall – a bright and elegant ceremony room at Villa Wrea Green with oak-beamed ceilings and an imposing fireplace. The father of the lovely bride welcomed her with a warm embrace. She was glowing in an off-the-shoulder A-line dress. At the same time, the groom kept moving around impatiently, revealing his nervousness while waiting for his future wife. Finally, two little flower girls appeared at the Lancashire wedding venue, announcing the grand moment. Thomas greeted Michelle with a kiss, taking both of her hands, promising to love and hold her forever.

Next, it was cocktail time! The bride and groom opted for casual champagne and canapes in the open air, seizing every bit of the mesmerising scenery and greenery. Although everyone seemed to enjoy the atmosphere, the youngest guests definitely had the most fun blowing bubbles in the open air. After a romantic photoshoot in the woodland, it was time to go inside Villa Wrea Green for the reception.

Villa Wrea Green Celebration In The Pavilion

The newlyweds opted for shades of soft pink as decor for the reception space. Mini trees with pink flowers resembling cotton candy were placed as centrepieces, giving the space a special touch. Additionally, the three-tier wedding cake was minimal but eye-catching, adorned with a tall branch of cherry blossom. After everyone found their seats, the fathers of the bride and groom held speeches, causing a tear here and there. Therefore, everyone raised their glasses in the name of love and a new beginning for Michelle and Thomas.

Beer And Football Afterparty

Because most of the invitees were huge football fans, the hosts relocated the Preston wedding to The Piano Lounge of Villa Wrea Green. The big TV screen tempted most of them to watch the match over beer and cheers. For that reason, the crew gathered around the bar, rooting for their team, creating a laid-back atmosphere. Meanwhile, the munchkins had some fun on their own, playing games and colouring. We kept moving around, trying to catch every fun moment that the newlyweds would be glad to be reminded of.
