It is always a joy to be up north of the border to celebrate beautiful new beginnings amidst Scottish hospitality and enchanting views. Lisa & Samuel, our gorgeous couple, planned their wedding in Scotland in the most exquisite manner. The union took place in Inchture Church, followed by endless celebrations at Fingask Castle.
Lisa & Samuel’s special day started with the couple getting ready with their respective parties. The place was spacious and gave so much character to the photos. One of the favourite elements of the day was taking their couple portraits. Plus, a few group shots before heading for the ceremony.
Traditional and Romantic Church Wedding Ceremony
Lisa & Samuel desired a traditional wedding in Scotland, so they decided to say their “I do’s” in Inchture Church. While all guests comfortably sat along the two aisle sides, Samuel waited eagerly for his gorgeous bride. The ceremony was intimate and emotional, embodying true love and commitment. There were a lot of smiles, and a few happy tears were shed, as well. Lisa & Samuel wanted a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary, so this Church wedding was exactly how they had imagined it. The venue provided great photo spots with high ceilings, intricate details and gorgeous wooden accents- an elegant sanctuary!
A Celebration that lasted all evening
Following the ceremony and couple portraits, everyone proceeded to Fingask Castle for the reception. It’s one of our favourite places as it offers a lot of quirky charm, plus all the things you can expect from a wedding venue in Scotland. We love portraying heartwarming emotions; golden light wonderfully adds to the garden’s charm, giving the beautiful and timeless allure.
From the moment guests arrived, it was clear the couple had planned a meaningful celebration to last all day and night. Our photographers continued to photograph the couple and their guests throughout the party. This reminds us that as photographers, it is our job and unique opportunity to create memorable art pieces to be cherished by the couple forever.
